You need:
- 1kg butternut cut, peeled, washed and boiled
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 cup peas
- 1 cup roasted mix nuts.
- 1 tsp. onion/mustard seeds
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tsp. fresh cinnamon powder
- Corriander (dhania)l eaves for garnish
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 green chilly chopped
- Use a heavy-bottom pan at medium temperature.
- Add 1 tbsp. of butter and onion seeds
- When puffed, add the chopped onions and fry until they change colour and you smell a nice aroma.
- Add the boiled butternut pieces. Mix throughout and add the peas.
- Cover for 5 minutes at a lower temperature.
- Sprinkle the nuts and add the remaining ingredients.
- Garnish with dhania
- Best enjoyed with paratha, puri or roti.
