Scones

Oooh lal la. These scones are very tasty and also very easy to make

Okay, lets do it.

What you need:

• 2 cups of cake flour
• 75 ml brown sugar
• 20 ml baking powder
• 100g maragarine/butter
• 1 egg
• 180 ml milk
• Pinch of salt

How to do it:

• Sift all the ingredients together and add 100g of butter/margarine. 
• Use your finger to mix this finely until the mixture is like breadcrumbs.
• In a small jug, add an egg and the fresh milk. Whip it.
• Now mix all the ingredients, and be careful to not overmix
• Sprinkle some cake flour and use your hands to make a dough. If it is sticky, use more cake flour. The dough must be soft.
• Cut the dough with a scone cutter
• Preheat the oven at 190 degrees and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes (until the scones are golden)

These scones are then ready for your tea
